WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- Lighting & Posing Techniques: Tired of inconsistent lighting? I’ll show you how to master your lighting setups with ease, guiding you through various modifiers and how to use them effectively. You’ll also learn posing tips for different body types, ensuring you can create beautiful images with confidence.
- 4-5 Lighting Setups: Hands-on experience with two pregnancy models, using techniques like white light, gel lighting, and color mixing. Learn how to bring stunning consistency to your studio lighting! –
- Editing Workflow: Stop wasting time on failed edits! I’ll present an efficient retouching process in EVOTO, Lightroom and Photoshop, focusing on perfecting 1-2 images. I will show you how to apply digital overlays to your maternity portraits.
- Post-Workshop Support: Access to an exclusive online group for continued Q&A, image critiques, and equipment advice—so you’re never left figuring things out alone.

PROGRAM:
This masterclass is designed to help you overcome the frustrations of inconsistent studio lighting and ineffective techniques. You’ll learn how to confidently use studio equipment, master modifier choices, and differentiate your work with colorful, creative lighting techniques that will set you apart. The following program can slightly change depending on the group questions:
PART I (9 am – 11 am):
- Overview of essential studio equipment
- Preparing for a maternity session, from styling to set-up
- Posing techniques for flattering maternity portraits
- Lighting theory and modifier exploration
PART II (11.30 pm – 3.30 pm):
- Photoshoot with two models, featuring 8+ lighting setups – Explore white light, color mixing, and gel lighting
PART III (4.00 pm – 5.00 pm)
- Editing workflow using Lightroom and Photoshop – Retouching demonstrations (actions and presets not included)
IMAGE USAGE: Photos can be shared in online portfolios but not for competitions, exhibitions, or advertising workshops
